Argentine Tortilla de Papas (potato pie)

Traditional delicious Argentinean dish based on Spanish cuisine

Prep time: 1:05 hour (1 hour of boiling potatoes)


  • 3-4 medium potatoes
  • 6 eggs ( 3 egg whites, 3 full eggs)
  • 1/8th large onion
  • Salt


  1. Cut potatoes into pieces
  2. Boil for 1 hour
  3. On a separarte bowl, mix the eggs, chopped onions, and salt to taste
  4. Drain cooked potatoes and place on a nonstick pan
  5. Pour egg-onion mix into the pan and cover it
  6. Cook for 5 minutes at medium heat
